My teachers dog was abused and she lives in Washington. Of coarse he was abused BEFORE she got him. He was chased around his yard by the owner and beat with a stick. The owner yelled at the dog and the neighbor felt so sorry for the poor animal. She tried to get the owner to give the dog up but her first few tries got her yelled and cussed at, and also getting threatened. But she did not stop and eventually the owner gave up and gave the dog to the neibor who gave the dog to my teacher because the dog, Hot Rod, did not like her dog. He now lives happily with my teacher in her house. Her first and only pet. I am happy about what the neighbor did and hope more people at least try.
